If this type of action is your thing, then you’d be ecstatic about this game. Furthermore, with weapons like the flame thrower available, you can burn enemies in trees, grass, buildings, and see their scorched bodies and the environment melt in flames right in front of you. Shooting enemies with high caliber weapons can take off heads, limbs, and rip their torso into shreds. Call of Duty World at War is one of the goriest games in the series that are out there to date. However, the physics in this Call of Duty game will be drastically different than both the newer and older ones as soon as you manage to shoot your enemies. Some obstacles are scalable, others are not, and some surfaces just appear to be indestructible. The classic physics that you feel in any Call of Duty game whether you’re running, climbing, or crawling are all there. Known to be one of the most refreshing and successful Call of Duty’s of its time, we ask the question: Is Call of Duty World at War still worth it today?
